Jacob's story
Jacob's journey began in late 2023 when he achieved his high-risk work accreditation—a milestone that laid the foundation for his vision. In April 2024, he turned that vision into reality by establishing Jorking Training Group on the Sunshine Coast.
A proud family man, Jacob lives on the Sunshine Coast with his wife and their two young children. Building Jorking Training Group was driven not only by his passion for the industry, but also by his desire to create a business that reflects his values of integrity, professionalism, and safety while providing a strong future for his family.
With more than a decade of hands-on industry experience, Jacob brings genuine operational expertise to every course he delivers. His commitment extends beyond teaching the correct procedures; he is passionate about fostering a strong safety culture, equipping students with the knowledge, confidence, and mindset to work safely and responsibly on every job site.
Training and assessment are delivered in partnership with Neildene Pty Ltd (RTO 40696) from our Sunshine Coast training facility and onsite at workplaces throughout Queensland. We also provide Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments Australia-wide, ensuring workers have the skills and confidence to perform safely and competently in their roles.

Licence courses run from our Sunshine Coast training centre — students join us from Caloundra to Gympie and everywhere between. Saturday sessions by appointment.
